Joanna is from London, but has been living in Padua, Italy since 2006. Joanna was born into a theatrical family (in more ways than one!). Her first acting role came when she was 18 months old, in a series called Within These Walls and she was immediately hooked! she acted (up) as a child and had her first television lead in a children’s television play called Dramarama when she was 13 years old. Joanna continued working through her teenage years and then started acting fulltime after finishing college. She has done lots of TV including regular parts in “Ellington” and “London Bridge” and has appeared in several commercials and corporate videos. Joanna is also an experienced voice-over artist. Commercials include McDonalds, Vodafone, Marks and Spencer sand Sony Playstation, Documentaries include “The Fit Farm” a 3 month series for Channel 4 and “3 Times a Baby” for Discovery Health Promos for Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky and BBC.

Since moving to Italy in 2006, she has worked a lot doing voice-overs for radio and tv and also presented her own radio show on Lite FM.

In 2015 she performed in the Arena at Giardini at The Biennale in Venice for a project called ‘Latent Images- Diary of a Photographer’ for 8 months and in 2020 had a role in a film called ‘Sulle Mie Spalle’, directed by Antonello Belluco.

She has just played the part of a ‘gossipy socialite’ in a film called ‘A Beautiful Imperfection’.
